Learning to serve

Cadets learn how to serve in their community — by learning how to respond in an emergency, be it a natural disaster or some other situation that requires CAP's unique abilities.

Presenting the Colors

Our cadet color guard and honor guard members routinely present the colors before civic events, including Major League Baseball and NHL games.

Cadets learn about flight

Cadet training includes aerospace education, from the basic principles of flight and rocketry to powerplant principles, from their cadet orientation flights to programs that afford them the opportunity to learn to fly for themselves.

Orientation Flights

As part of their training, cadets receive orientation flights in CAP's powered and glider fleet of more than 500 aircraft nationwide.
